The Clarksville AppleFest has opened registration for this year’s Queen and Junior Queen contest. Registration is $10 and participants must be from the Clopton School District. The contest is open to young women ages 13-18 (13-15 Junior Queen, 16-18 Queen), and previous winners are not eligible to compete in the same category. Candidates will sell 50/50 raffle tickets and the candidate who sells the most tickets will be crowned AppleFest Queen on Saturday, October 12. Those interested in registering must turn in a registration form to the school counselor by the end of the school day on Thursday, September 26.
