Options for Women 9th Annual Banquet will be taking place on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at St. Clement Knights of Columbus Hall in Bowling Green. Doors will open at 5:45 p.m. with the meal and banquet starting at 6:30 p.m.
Two separate events will be held in each of the communities where Options for Women offices are located.

Options for Women is pleased to announce their 9th Annual Banquet for Life events. This year’s theme is Pro-Woman, Pro-Child, Pro-Life. Two separate events will be held in each of the communities where Options for Women offices are located. The Hannibal event will be on Monday, October 16th at Calvary Baptist Church, 4605 W. Ely Road, Hannibal, MO and the Bowling Green event will be held on Tuesday, October 17th at the St. Clement Knights of Columbus Hall, 14516 Highway J., Bowling Green, MO. Doors open for both events at 5:45, with the meal and banquets starting each evening at 6:30 PM. There is no cost for the meal, however, these banquets do serve as a fundraising event for the organization, so opportunities to give will be offered throughout the evening. Claire Culwell, internationally known speaker and author will be presenting the program. Claire is an abortion survivor, and her story is guaranteed to leave a mark on all who attend. Sponsors for the event include Senator Cindy O’Laughlin, numerous Knights of Columbus organizations around the area, Ralls and Adrain County Pork Producers, LS Tax Services of Hannibal, and Calvary Baptist Church.
Space is limited, but the organization wants to reach as many people as possible with this message. Paul Brunner, Options for Women Executive Director states: “It’s not too late. This is a message everyone should hear.” Church groups are encouraged, but planning is vitally important. Please call with your reservations and numbers as soon as possible. Should one location fill up, guests may be offered the opportunity to attend the Banquet in the other location.
Options for Women is a Pregnancy Help Center that opened in Bowling Green in 2016, and in October of 2022, opened their Hannibal location at 7A Northport Plaza. Services include medical grade pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and life coaching, all confidential and at no charge. Pregnancy, parenting, and life skills classes are offered free at the center and online, with incentives for participation. Options for Women also offers referrals for medical help and temporary housing for expectant mothers in need, prenatal vitamins, life coaching and support for those grieving an abortion or miscarriage, adoption referrals, information on abortion and abortion pill reversal, a mentoring program for young men, and ongoing support and encouragement to young parents.
