BOWLING GREEN, Mo. — A local agency can help with your summer utility bills.
The North East Community Action Corporation has more than one million dollars through the Energy Crisis Intervention Program.
It began June 1st, and is available to income-qualifying residents of 12 Missouri counties.
Applications may be submitted online or in person at NECAC Service Centers. The monthly income limit for a one-person household is $2,211. For a four-person residence, it’s $4,252. Additional guidelines are available upon request.
The counties served are Lewis, Lincoln, Macon, Marion, Monroe, Montgomery, Pike, Ralls, Randolph, Shelby, St. Charles and Warren.
