PIKE COUNTY, MO – Pike County voters are getting a chance to ask local candidates about the issues. A free public forum is at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 16 at the courthouse in Bowling Green. Four unopposed office seekers will be given a chance to address the audience. A question-and-answer session with candidates who have opponents will then be held.
Questions will come from the media and audience. The moderator will be award-winning print and broadcast journalist, author, and public relations professional Brent Engel. There are races for presiding commissioner, circuit and associate circuit judge, county clerk, and county recorder. The election is November 6th and the last day to register to vote was October 10th.
